Decorating for Spring
Hands-down, Christmas is one of my favorite holidays, but spring is probably the season that I really start yearning for the most. There is just something about spring that makes it feel like a season of “newness”- maybe it’s the new flowers popping up out of the ground or hearing the birds singing…. Whatever it is, spring causes you to feel refreshed and full of hope.
Easter Table Setting
Want some easy ideas for decorating for Easter and creating a unique and beautiful table setting? You’ve come to the right place, my friend!
Nothing Says “Easter” Like a Bunny
I started with this sweet bunny. (I couldn’t find my exact bunny, but the one here is adorable and definitely would be one I would pick!) He is actually sitting in the middle of a wreath I covered with moss and faux miniature daisies I had. The wreath and bunny are in a wooden bowl make the centerpiece look a little more “finished.” (If you don’t have a wooden bowl, this one here would work I think, or a large plate would also work to hold the wreath to make it easy to clean the table.)

Using Things You Already Have
This simple easter table setting combines one of my favorite decorating things: using things you already have. By getting creative with repurposing, these books are able to take center stage. The only thing I bought new were the placemats, but I intentionally picked a color I really loved, so they could be used again and again. I found mine at Home Goods; the ones on Amazon are very similar, but a good bit more expensive, so check out what you might be able to find in-store first. (You can’t go wrong with classic linen.)
Thinking Outside the Box (uh…book)
Who would have thought Beatrix Potter books could be used on a table setting? All I did was use books that looked the most “Easter-y” to me (The Tale of Peter Rabbit, The Tale of the Flopsy Bunnies, Benjamin Bunny, Jemima Puddle Duck).
This is exactly what I used on my spring table two years ago and I absolutely loved it; this is probably one of my favorite table settings to date. I had to reshare it with you in case you haven’t seen it. To be honest, I also wanted to republish this to remind myself to recreate this same look for Easter THIS year! (The cute watercolor bunnies are just the icing on the cake, right?).
