A hoop wreath is an affordable way to add some seasonal decor into your home. Watch the video to see how quickly and easily this hoop wreath comes together! I was able to create THREE of these budget-friendly wreaths for about $13.
Hoop Wreaths: Simple, Easy Decor
Simple & Not Fussy
I’ve gotten to a place in life, where simpler is just better. Why? Because simple usually saves me time and energy. This segways into decorating too. The more odds and ends I have out, the more dust they collect. Then when I actually have a few minutes to sprint around with a duster I can’t get as much cleaned….just me?) Trust me, clear surfaces are MUCH easier to dust when you are sprinting around. (Less chance of knick-knack-casualty too!)
I’ve been really drawn to the lighter, raw wood lately, so these inexpensive embroidery hoops looked like the perfect backdrop to make a fall wreath on. The orange and blue colors really pop on them too, don’t you think?

Repurpose Me Please
I love that these wooden hoops are easy to store. All three of these hoop wreaths take up less space than ONE of my regular “grapevine” wreaths.
I was able to attach everything onto the hoop using floral wire or just the actual floral stem itself, so no embroidery hoop was harmed by a glue gun in the making of this wreath. (Should I have given that disclaimer at the top of this post? Wink.)
Another nice thing about using an embroidery hoop for a wreath base? They can be used for any season! These would also look great with some pine branches on them for the holiday or winter season.
Here is a smaller hoop wreath I made for spring.
Decor that Won’t Break the Bank
Because these can be repurposed for other seasons, they already are a cost-effective decor item. BUT they are actually reasonable priced too. I was able to find a multipack at my local Michaels for a great price. (I think it was around $9 for 5 hoops???) AND you can actually make TWO wreaths from ONE embroidery hoop! (If you aren’t a sewer, this is because each hoop has 2 round pieces to hold fabric for embroidery.)
I mentioned at the beginning of the post, but I was able to make THREE of these wreaths for less than $15. I’d say that definitely is a win for the pocketbook!
