Planning Saves Your Sanity
Do you ever feel like you would literally forget your head if it wasn’t attached to your body? I’m sure that if I didn’t have a system in place of having a specific place for things in my house, everything would end up being lost all the time.
The same is true with ideas and plans. I have all kinds of ideas that I want to do; all kinds of activities that would be “fun to do.” The thing is, if I don’t write them down, they tend to be forgotten or left undone.
Using a Monthly Theme Planner
If you are a person who has littles at home, using a monthly theme planner can be a mind-saver and a huge help to you!
I find this kind of thing fun. I love coming up with creative ideas. I think of it as a fun challenge; trying to use things around the house to entertain my kids (and to promote active learning without them even realizing they are learning something).
Each month has its own holidays and seasonal activities that naturally lend themselves to fun projects. By using those monthly events you can easily create “themed activities” for you and your child to enjoy.
